On Tuesday, 15 October, from 10.00 to 11.00, Ludivine Crible, postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Edinburgh, U.K., will present a talk and have a hands-on demonstrative session on how a piece of software may be used to annotate and analyze discourse markers.

In order to take full advantage of this session, participants are asked to bring their laptops with them and:

• download the annotation software available here https://exmaralda.org/en/preview-version/ and install it on the machine they will bring at the workshop
• download the sample text taken from the TED Talk website available here.
• download the .xml file that can be used as annotation panel in the software, available here.
